 You can barely hear the soundsJun 25, 2008
I got this cute set for my baby shower because I had heard wonderful things about it. The little sheep is very cute, but small in size. The little music adaptor slips in and out of the sheep and sometimes falls out, but that is not what I didn't like about it.
The problem with it is that I can barely hear the sounds. You have only 4 choices and even when I turn the volume up to max, the baby can barely hear it. The sounds get drowned by the baby's kicking and cooing.
It's definitely not worth buying, however, the blanket that cloud b offers might be good as compared to the sheep.
I am thinking of using the sheep myself while doing yoga or something to create a calm environment.

this product is exactly what i was looking for 100% satisfied recomend for children who have sencory processing disorder my son has it and this toy helps him fall asleep with no problems

I bought this for my son when we decided to move from one state to another. I thought it would help him transition during the unfamiliar sounds of the car and the new house. It did just that. It gave him a sound to concentrate on that was familiar while he drifted off to sleep helping him orientate himself. This saved us quite a few fussy nights! The reason I only gave it 4 stars was because the velcro on the side of the sheep does tend to pop open and the music box part will slip out! I simply added a couple extra little velcro dots on the inside to insure that the music box didn't get lost in transit when this was on his car seat. All in all a great buy. Very soft.

I purchased 2 of these within weeks of each other for 2 friends. One kid is 4 months old now and still sleeps with his sheep. Both Moms continually tell me how great it works in calming their child and helping keep during nap time. Highly recommend this one plus it's not one of those normal shower gifts which is a bonus. :)

Snuggly and cute - and always welcome. This sheep serves the double purpose of a cuddly toy and a sleep soother. The sounds are great and both baby and mom loved the gift. Terrific for baby showers.
